This tutorial was written March 5, 2012. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice.
I used one of René Kunerts latest releases called Lucky Lady. She was selling HERE at the time of writing this tutorial.
You need a license to be able to use her work.

If you want to animate, you will also need an animation. I'm using "SimoneAni57-Clovers" from Scrappy Bit of Fun. She has lots of cool animations.

Plugins:
ColorRave - Atmosperizer 1.1
Tramages - Tow The Line
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow (Optional)

Font of choice. I used "Patrick Regular"

*The link for the matching snags can be found at the bottom of the tutorial*

Lets get started...
The animations comes in gif which is the preview and in PSD files.  Open up the PSD file in your PSP.

Go to Image - Canvas size and change it with these settings:
Picture
Duplicat and mirror EACH layer. Make sure that the corresponding layer/mirrored layer are right under each other, like this:
Picture
(only showing the first few layers here)

Merge each "copy of Frame" layer down to the previous layer so that each mirrored layer merges with the corresponding layer. (Copy of Frame 1 is merged down to Frame 1 and so on)
It's very important that you don't mess up here, or the animation wont look good.

If you have another way you want to do this, feel free to do so, like adding the animation in Animation Shop instead. I don't use AS for animation, so I do it like I have explained here.

Anyway, on with our work :)
At this point, I decided to hide all the layers except the bottom one.

Add a new layer and send it to the bottom.
Floodfill this layer with a color. It doesn't really matter what colour you use, but I used a colour from the tube.

Add ColorRave - Atmosperizer 1.1 with these settings:
Picture
Or play with the setting to get the colours you want to match your tube.
You can also play with the brightness and contrast ratio under Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast. I changed the brightness to -16 and contrast to 23.

Still on the bottom layer, add Tramages - Tow The Line at default settings.
Add a close up of your tube. Change the layer properties to Soft Light, or another one of your choice. This depends on the tube really and your liking.

(Opptional: Add your tube and place on the opposite side of the close up. Change the  opacity to 50%. You can also change the layer properties if you like.)

Activate the top layer and paste your tube again. Position it and add a drop shadow. As usual, I used Eye Candy 5 - Perspective Shadow with the blurry preset (my favourite).

Crop your creation with Merged Opaque.

Add a new layer and floodfill with black or a dark colour from your tube. Select all and contract the selection by 2. Hit delete and deselect. Add a drop shadow: 0,0,100,20, black.

Add your name and copyright.

Animate as usual.
AVATAR:

Duplicate your tag and delete all the layers except the bottom layer and the animation. Crop to 150x150px and add a new layer. Floodfill with the same dark colour you used for your tag and use the same contract settings as you did earlier. Add the same drop shadow to the frame and add your initial.
You can either save it as a jpg or you can animate it like you did with your tag.

I also made some matching snags which you can grab HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

This tutorial was written February 29, 2012. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice.
I used a tube called Explosion from RB White. He was with PTE at the time of writing this tutorial, and this tube will be/was released on March 1st.

Plugins:
VM Experimental - Needles and Pins
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow (Optional)

Font of choice. I used "Gunplay"

Open a new image 650x250.Make a gradient with 2 contrasting colors from your tube, with these settings:
Picture
and floodfill your layer.
Duplicat this layer. Mirror the bottom layer and on the duplicate, add VM Experimental with
Needles and Pins. These are the settings I used, but you are free to experiment:
Picture
Go to Effect - Edge Effect- Enhance. Lower the opacity to about 50%.
Duplicate this layer and rotate it 90% to the right. Move this layer to the right side of the tag.
Add a new layer and draw a rectangle from top to bottom. Convert to raster and duplicate. Move the rectangles a bit so they are side by side. See my tag for reference. Merge down.

Still on the rectangle layer, select all, float and defloat. Hide this layer so you see what you do.
Go to the bottom needles and pins layer and hit delete. Move this layer one up. Go to the bottom needles and pins layer (the one you rotated) and promote selection to layer. Deselect.

Activate your top layer and add a close up of your tube and place on left side. Change the layer properties of the close up to Screen or one to your liking.

Add your tube and add a blurry drop shadow (I used Eye Candy 5 - Perspective Shadow with the blurry preset).Crop your tag.Add a new layer and floodfill with black. Select All and contract selection by 1. Delete and deselect. Add your name and copyright. Save as jpg.

AVATAR
Duplicate your tag and remove all the layers except bottom layer and all the needles and pins layers. Crop your tag to 150x150 px. Add a new layer and floodfill with black. Select all and contract the selection by 1. Hit detele and deselect. Add your initial and save as jpg.

This tutorial was written February 20, 2012. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice.
I have used an exclusive tube from Zebrush at Pics For Design. You have to be in PFD's exclusive club to purchase this. At least it was like this at the time of writing this tutorial.
For the second example at the bottom of the tutorial I used a tube from Francisco Rivera. You need a written permission to be able to use his art.

Plugins:
Mura Meister - Copies
Xero - Fritillary
Eye Candy 5 - Extrude (Optional) (Other option mentioned)
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow (Optional)

Font of choice. I used "Menuet Script".

Open a new image 650x250 and floodfill with white.
Make a gradient with a light and medium dark colour from your tube:
Picture
Make a new layer and floodfill with the gradient.
Duplicate this layer and on the bottom gradient layer, add Xero Fritillary at default  settings. Change the opacity to about 50% on this layer. Go to Effects - Edge Effects and add Edge Enhance.
Change the layer properties to multiply on the top layer.

Change your background colour the medium dark colour from your tube.
Use your rectangle tool and draw out a small square.
Rotate the square with these settings:
Picture
Center in canvas and convert to Raster.
Add Mura Meister Copies with these settings:
Picture
With your selection tool, remove enough columns of squares on each side so that you only got the 3 centre ones left. See my tag for reference.
Go to Eye Candy 5 Extrude and add these settings to the rectangle layer:
Picture
If you don't have Extrude you can duplicate the rectangle layer, change the colour  to white on the bottom rectangle layer and move it a little bit to the left. You will get a similar effect then. Add a drop
shadow of choice. I used  2,2,60,8, Black on the white rectangles.

Add your tube and place it on the right side. Move it below the rectangles and change the layer properties to Multiply, or another one. Which ever works best for your tube. Change the opacity to 70%.
Activate your top layer and paste a close up of your tube on the left side and add a blurry drop shadow. I used Eye Candy - Impact - Perspective Shadow with the blurry preset.

Crop your tag.
Add a new layer and floodfill with a dark colour from your tube. Select all and contract selection by 1. Click delete and deselect.
Add your name. I used the Extrude with the same settings as earlier and added a drop shadow to it.

Add your copyright and save the tag as jpeg if you don't want to animate.

ANIMATION:
Now you got 2 options, depending on if you used Extrude on the rectangles or not:

1.If you used Extrude:
With your magic wand, make it so that all dark rectangles are selected. Promote this selection to layer and duplicate it twice, so that you have 3 layers in total.

2. If you didn't use Extrude on the rectangles:
Duplicate the dark rectangle layer so you have 3 in total.

Either way, on the top layer, add dsb flux - Bright Noise with 28 as intensity and on mix.
For the middle layer, add the same setting but click on Mix once. Do the same for the bottom rectangle layer but click Mix again.

Animate as usual and save as gif.

AVATAR:
In PSP, duplicate your tag and remove the tube layers, © layer, name and border.
Crop it to 150x150.
Add a new layer and floodfill with your dark colour. Select all, contract selection by 1 and click delete. Deselect.
Add your initial with the same font you used earlier.
If you want to, you can animate this like you did with the tag and save as gif.
