This tutorial was written December 5th, 2013. I used Corel X5, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers. Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please look at my TOU for more info. The supplies you need: Any tube or image you decide on. I’m using a stunning tube by Sarah Bennett. At the time I wrote this tutorial, she was selling at My Tubed Art. I don't know where she is selling now, but I will update the tutorial when I find out. I also used a stunning PTU kit called “Red Christmas” by CBJ. This kit is no longer available at any stores. Here is a preview of the kit: Materials you need: A mask of your choice. I used “DD_WinterMask_11” by Dangerously Delicious (Dee). A font that you like. I used “A&S Christmas Script”. This is a PTU font. I also used “PF Rhonda Seven” (size 8px, anti-alias off) for the copyright (Optional) Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional) My settings for drop shadow: -3, -3, 70, 8, Black. I always add the drop shadow to the layers once I’m done, but you can add the drop shadow as you go if you like. Lets get started! Make a new transparent canvas 700x700 px. Paste a frame and resize if needed. I used CBJ_RCBracetFrm and resized it down by 55%. Paste the tube (or an image) underneath the frame and place in position. Back on the frame layer, click inside the frame with your Magic Wand. Expand the selection by 5 and add a new layer underneath the tube layer. Paste a paper of choice inside the selection. I used CBJ_RCP3. With the selection still active, go to the tube layer, Invert the Selection and hit delete. Paste RCFlakes right above the paper layer. Resize it by 50% and hit delete to get rid of the bits that are outside the frame. There are multiple ways to do this, so just do it the way you prefer. Deselect. Activate the bottom layer and add DoodleFrame as a new layer. Resize it down by 75% and rotate it 20 degrees to the right. Now it’s time to have some fun and add some elements :) Activate the top layer and add RCHolly as a new layer. Resize it down by 50% and place it at the bottom center. Paste RCArrangement as a new layer. Resize it by 50%, mirror it and place it at the top right corner of the frame. Paste CBJ_RCRedDec and resize it down to 30%. Place it at the left center of the frame. Look at my tag for reference. Paste CBJ_RCRibbon1 or 2 and resize it by 50%. Rotate it 90 degrees to the right and place it underneath the Holly layer. Move it towards the left, duplicate and mirror the copy. See my tag for reference. Paste CBJ_RCABranch2 right above the Holly, resize it by 50% and place it towards the bottom right side. Duplicate and mirror. Merge these 2 branches together. Paste CBJ_RCGiftBow as a new layer right above the Branches and resize it by 50%. Place it at the bottom center. Go back to the Branch layers and remove the thicker sticks that are sticking out below the GiftBow. See my tag for reference to what I removed and placement. Activate the bottom layer again and add CBJ_RCBerrieDeco. Resize it by 50% and place it in the top left corner. Now you can add any other elements you want. If you’re done with that, go to the bottom layer again. Select all and paste a paper into the selection. I used Paper 12. Deselect. Add a mask to this layer and Merge Group. You might want to play around with it a little with the Pick Tool. At least that’s what I did. If you haven’t added a Drop Shadow to the layers, now it’s time to do so. I even added the Drop Shadow to the mask layer to make it pop. Crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Activate your Font Tool and type out your name. Convert to Raster and add a Gradient Glow with one of two colors from the tag. I used the Fat setting with 2 red colour and these settings: Add the same Drop Shadow to the name.
Resize your tag down to 500px on the longest side. Add proper copyright info and save as PNG. Thanks for trying my tutorial. I’d love to see what you make :) Hugs Lithy

This tutorial was written June 30th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers and selections. Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please look at my TOU for more info. The supplies you need: Any tube you decide on. I’m using a stunning tube by Verymany at Pics For Design. I also used a PTU kit called “Eterrnal Torment” by CBJ. Unfortunately this kit is no longer available in any stores. Here is a preview of the kit: (Click on the image to see it in full view) In my second example at the bottom, I used an old FTU kit called “Turquoise Dream” by Vixpsp. Materials you need: A mask of your choice. I used “BigMask018" by Vix. A font that you like. I used “WHaupe_Circus”. Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional) My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black. Make a new canvas, 750 x 700 pixels. I start by pasting the tube and move it to the bottom left. You can also do this towards the end of the tutorial if you want. The reason I do it now, is because she is sitting and she isn’t centred, so it makes it easier to paste all the bits I want to use behind her. The tube I use has been colorized to match the kit. Do not do this unless you know how to colorize and it’s allowed according to the artist/company TOU. I resized my tube down by 50% and added a drop shadow to it (using the settings mentioned above). Paste a frame below the tube. I had to resize mine down by 50% and I moved it slightly to the right. Activate your selection tool with the rectangle setting. Draw out a rectangle that follows the frame, like this: Add a new raster below the frame and paste a paper in to the selection. I used P13. Select none. Add a drop shadow to the frame. Time to add some elements. I used only a small selection from the kit. Here is a list with name, size and placement: Envelope: down to 30%. Placed at the bottom towards the bow on the frame. I took my freehand selection tool and traced a part of the ribbon like this: I promoted the selection to a layer and moved it above the envelope. Select none and go to the frame layer. Carefully erase along the area where you got a double drop shadow (underneath the selection you promoted). Make sure that you don’t remove too much. Red sequins: Resize down to 40% and place at the bottom of the envelope. Stars: resize to 40% and place above the paper, inside the frame. Duplicate and move it below the other stars. See my tag for reference. Lilac Blue: Resize down to 40% and place it behind the envelope, a little up and to the right. Red Flutter: Resize down to 40% and place it on the Lilac Blue. Flower3: Activate the bottom layer and paste the flower. Move it up and a little to the left. Red Plant: Resize to 60% and place it below Flower3, up and to the left. Cardboard Heart 2: Resize down to 30% and place in front of the envelope. Rotate 15 degrees to the left. Add any other elements you like. Add a drop shadow to the layers. If you haven't added your tube already, now is the time to do it. Don't forget to add a drop shadow to the tube layer as well. Activate the bottom layer and paste a paper as a new layer. Add your mask and merge group. Crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Add your name or saying and place it to your liking. I placed it on the heart and rotated it 15 degrees to the left before converting it to raster. I added a Gradient Glow using two different shades of red/pink from the tag. I used the Fat setting and these numbers: I also added a drop shadow to the name. Resize your tag to 550px on the longest side and add proper copyright to the tag. I always add a thin Gradient Glow to the copyright info, in a contrasting colour or one that matches the background. Save your tag in png or jpg and you’re done! Thanks for trying my tut J Hugs Lithy Here is another example using a FTU kit by Vix: I also used a few elements from other FTU kits she has released in the past and colorized them to match the tag.

I’m using a gorgeous tube by Anna Liwanag at CDO. I also used a PTU kit called “Fairy Tale Dreams” by GrnIz Dezinez. Here is a preview of the kit: Materials you need:
A mask of your choice. I used “Mask91" by Trese. A font that you like. I used “Calligraffitti”. Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional) My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black. Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels. Paste element 14 as a new layer. Paste a paper of choice underneath the frame. I used Paper 9. Paste a close up of the tube as a new layer and place it towards the right side, inside the frame. Activate the frame layer. With your magic wand active, click inside the frame and expand the selection by 10 and Invert. Go to the close up and hit Delete and do the same for the paper layer. Deselect. Go to the close up again and change the layer properties to Overlay or another suitable setting. Paste element 17 at the bottom and place it towards the top left side. Move it so that the colours are lined up with the stripes on the frame. Go to the top layer and paste element 40. Resize it down to 70% and place it on the right side. Paste element 37. Resize it down to 85%. Paste element 49 and place it a little bit below the rainbow, as an extension to the clouds. Paste element 18 or 19 and mirror it. Paste the tube and place it on the left side. Paste element 39 and place it along the bottom of the frame. See my tag for reference. I selected and promoted part of her dress to make it look like the edge of her dress is above it. Make sure you’re on the top layer and paste element 26. Resize it to 60% and place it in the bottom left corner. Paste element 25, resize it to 50% and place it in front of the other flower element, a little to the side. Paste element 23, resize it to 50% and place at the bottom right corner. See my tag for reference. Paste element 12 and resize it to 50% and place it at the bottom right corner. Paste the carriage. Resize it down to 50% and place it in the bottom corner. Add any other embellishments you like. The kit has tons of gorgeous things you can add. I have only shown a few of them. Ok, time to add a drop shadow to all the layers if you haven’t done it already. Crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Go to the bottom layer and add a paper. I already had a bottom layer that was blank, so I selected all and pasted a paper into the selection and Deselected. I used Paper 7. Add your mask to this layer and Merge Group. Set foreground and background to a colour from the tag. Activate the Text Tool, choose the font and size (I used 80 px) you want to use and type out the name or saying. Convert to raster. I added a Gradient Glow using the Fat setting and a light colour from the tag. Add a drop shadow to the name. Resize your tag. I resized mine to 550px on the longest side. Add your copyright info and save it as a png. Thanks for trying my tutorial! I also made some matching snags that you can find HERE, along with all the other Anna Liwanag snags I have made in the past. Hugs Lithy This tutorial was written May 6th, 2013. Don't forget to check out her animations as well. A font that you like. I used “Parisienne-Regular”. Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional) My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black. Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels. Paste Frame5 and rotate 15 degrees to the left. Paste Frame1 underneath this and place it in the top left corner. Paste a paper underneath the black frame. I used Paper10. With you Magic Wand active, click inside the black frame, Expand the selection by 5 and Invert. Go back to the paper layer and hit Delete. Select none. Paste your tube and add a drop shadow to the tube layer. If you use a tube similar to the one I used, you’ll have to remove the bottom part of the tube that is sticking out. There are numerous ways of doing this, but here is what I do: Click inside the black frame with the Magic Wand and Expand by 1. Invert the selection and got the tube layer. Use the eraser to remove the bits that are sticking out at the bottom. Select none. It’s time to place some elements. There are lots of beautiful elements in this kit, and I wish I could show them all lol. Here are a few of the elements I used and where I placed them: HD-84: Place it as a layer between the 2 frames and place it in the top right corner. HD-27: Above the tube at the bottom of the tag. HD-75: Resized down to 70%, flip it and place it underneath HD-27 to the left. Duplicate and mirror and place it on the opposite side at the bottom. See my tag for reference. HD-25: Resized down to 70%, place it underneath HD-75 to the left. Duplicate, mirror and flip and place it on the opposite side at the bottom. HD-12: Paste above the paper and rotate 15 degrees to the left. Duplicate this and move these 2 layers a bit so that you get 2 rows of hearts inside the frame. See my tag for placement. HD-54: Paste it above the black frame and place it in the top right corner of the frame. HD-1: Paste it above the black frame and towards the top right corner of the frame. HD-4: Paste this below the white feathers (HD-75) and resize down to 60%. Place it on the bottom right side. HD-5: Paste this as the top layer and resize it down to 60%. Place it at the bottom left. HD-59: Paste it at the top layer and place it at the bottom left corner. HD-19: Paste it and place it at the bottom of the tag. Send this to the bottom layer, duplicate, mirror and merge these 2 together. Duplicate again and mirror and merge. HD-53: Paste it as the top layer, resize down to 60% twice and place it at the bottom. Go to the bottom layer and paste a paper. I used Paper3. Add your mask to this layer and Merge Group. Tutorial on how to do that can be found HERE. Crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Add a drop shadow to all the layers except the tube layer, paper layer and mask layer. A neat way to add a drop shadow is that once you’ve done it to one layer, go to the next layer and press Ctrl Y on your keyboard. Repeat this to the rest of the layers. I don’t know if it’s the same code in other versions of Paintshop Pro, so you might have to look it up. Add your name using a suitable font. I had both fore- and background layer set to white. Convert your name to raster and add Eye Candy Gradient Glow on it with these settings: Add a drop shadow to the name and resize your tag. I resized mine to 550px on the longest side.
Add proper copyright and save as png or jpg. Thanks for trying! Hugs Lithy This tutorial was written April 29th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. Add Perspective shadow to the bottom tube layer using the Blurry setting and this: On the top layer, erase her hand and the part of the arm where the frame is. See my tag for reference. Also make sure that you erase any part of the tube that is sticking out below that frame. We want her to pop out of the frame. With your Magic Wand active, click inside all the 3 frames.Expand the selection by 5 and Invert. Paste a paper below the frame. I used Paper6. Hit Delete and select none. Add a drop shadow to the frame, hide the bottom layer (if you have a white background) and merge visible. Paste Flower below the frame. Resize it to 50%.Place it a little to the left. Paste GemFloral below the flower. Resize it to 60%, mirror and place it towards the right side. Paste Ribbon2 above the frame layer. Resize it to 50% and place it at the bottom left. Duplicate, mirror, flip and place it at the bottom right. We'll move them both in place in a sec. Paste MetalHeart above the ribbons and resize it down to 50%. Go to the bottom layer and add a new raster. Select All and paste a paper into the selection. I used Paper5. Select none. Add your mask and merge group. You can look at the tutorial on how to do it HERE. Duplicate the mask layer 3 times and merge the mask layers together. Activate your Text Tool and write your name or a saying. Convert to raster. If you want to, you can pick a colour from the tag ( I chose a dark yellow) and add a Gradient Glow to the name with the Fat setting: (The colours in the screenshot is from another tutorial)

Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels. Paste element 57 as a new layer. Rotate it 90 degrees to the left (or right) and resize it down to 50%. Paste a paper underneath the frame. I used paper1. You might have to resize it some, or at least move it around a little bit to get he part of the paper you want to show inside the frame. Paste element13 above the paper and place in to position. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer, mirror and flip it. Click inside the frame with your magic wand. Expand the selection by 5 and Invert. Hit Delete on both the layers with element 13 and the paper layer. Select none. Paste element16 underneath the frame and resize it down to 50%. Place in the top left corner of the frame. Duplicate this, mirror and flip. Move it to the bottom right corner of the frame and merge these 2 together. Go to the bottom layer and paste element 10. Resize it to 50% and place it in the top left corner. Paste element8 under the flower and resize it to 50%. Place it so that the leaves are sticking out a bit. See my tag for reference. Paste element 14 underneath the leaves layer. Resize it to 50% and place it in the bottom right corner. Paste element44 underneath the white flower. Resize it to 60% and place it in the top right corner. Paste element32 above the pink flower. Resize it to 30% and place it in the bottom left corner of the frame. See my tag for reference. Paste element20 and place it at the bottom of the frame. Resize it to 50%. Duplicate this layer and place the top sprinkle layer above the frame at the top of the frame. Paste your tube as a new layer. I added a drop shadow to the tube straight away and with the selection too, I removed a bit at the bottom, so that it looks like the tube is inside the frame at the bottom. Resize it to 25% and place at the bottom. Add a drop shadow to all the layers. Go to the bottom layer and add a new raster. Change your foreground and background colours to 2 from the tag. I used 2 dark colours from the kitten. Change the foreground colour to a gradient, like this: And floodfill the layer. Add your mask (DDMask7) and merge group. I duplicated the mask layer a total of 5 times and merged these together. Add another raster layer above the mask layer. Select All and past a paper in to the selection. I used paper10. Select none, add the second mask (Mask13) to this layer. I increased the size of the mask layers on this one by dragging the corners out with the pick tool and merged the group. I also duplicated it a total of 5 times and merged these together. I moved this under the grey mask layer. Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque. You might have to adjust the size of the crop, moving the lines around your tag a bit. Activate the Text Tool, find your font, change the size to 70px, anti-alias to Smooth. Set the foreground and background colour to black and type out your name. Convert to raster and add a Gradient Glow to the name with these settings: I used the FAT setting and picked 2 pink colours from the tag: #fd309e and #f194cb, like this: Add a drop shadow to the name.
Resize your tag and add the proper copyright. Save it as a png or jpg. Hugs Lithy This tutorial was written April 25th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. The supplies you need: Any tube you decide on. I’m using some of the Emo tubes (4 tubes) from Michi Art at CDO. I also used a FTU kit called “Girls Rule” by Gimptastic Scraps. Here is a preview of the scrapkit: Materials you need: Mask of choice. I used “Mask 51” by AquaRebel315. A font that matches the theme. I used “Punk Kid”. Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional) My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black. Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels. Paste Frame 4 and rotate it 15 degrees to the right. Place on the right side for now. You can move it in to place later. Paste Frame3 and rotate it 90 degrees to the right. Place on the left side. Paste a paper below frame 4. Do the same with your second paper choice. I used Paper4 and Paper7. Activate your Magic Wand and click inside the top part of the black frame. Expand by 5 and Invert. Go to the paper layer and hit Delete. Select None. Repeat the process but click inside the bottom part of the frame instead. Go to the other paper and hit Delete. Select None. Paste a black paper underneath the circle frames. I used Paper2. Click inside all 3 circles with your Magic Wand and expand by 5. Invert, activate the paper layer and hit Delete. Select None. Now we’re going to add some close-up tubes inside the circles. Here I will explain how to it to the top one, so repeat this on the other 2 circles: Paste a tube (from the same artist) and place it to your liking inside the circle frame. I resized mine down to 60% because they were quite big. Go to the frame layer and click inside the top circle with your Magic Wand. Expand by 5, Invert and go back to the close-up tube. Hit delete and Select None. Change the layer option on the tube to Screen and lower the opacity to 70. Once you have done this to all 3 circles, you can start placing elements around. These are the ones that I used. Any changes I had made to these layers are explained (See my tag for reference): Deco – above the bottom layer, place at the bottom right. Star Spiral – above the bottom layer, bottom left. Duplicate, mirror and flip this one. Bubble1 – above the Circle frame, top right. Ribbon – above the black frame, on the right side. Winged Skull – above the ribbon, right side. Arrow – above the black frame, bottom area. OMG – above the circle frame, between the bottom 2 circles. Girls Rule – above the circle frame, at the bottom Flower1 – Above the top Star Spiral, top left corner. Star1 – above the circle layer, almost centre. Balloon2 – above the ribbon layer, right side Kiss – above Bubble1, bottom right corner. Bubble2 – above the kiss, bottom right corner. I added Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow to “Kiss” and “Arrow”, using the Fat setting with white and these numbers: Add a drop shadow on all the layers. My settings are mentioned at the top of the tutorial.
Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Activate the bottom layer and paste a new layer. Select all and paste a paper in to the Selection. I used Paper6. Select None. Add a mask to the paper layer and Merge Group. See my tutorial on how to do it HERE. Activate your Text Tool. I used Punk Kit at 70 pixels with black as background colour. Write your name and convert to raster. I added the same Gradient Glow to the name, as I used earlier. Add a drop shadow to the name. Resize your tag. I resized mine down to 550px on the longest side. Add the copyright info and save your tag. I hid my bottom layer and saved as png. Thanks for trying my tutorial. I also made some snags that you can find HERE. The supplies you need: Any tube you decide on. I’m using an exclusive tube from Maxine Gadd. This tube was purchased in an event called Taking Back PSP from October 2012, so unless you took part in that event, you can’t get the tube. It will never be up for sale anywhere. I also used a kit called “Natural World of fantasy by Disyas Digitals Designs. You can purchase this kit at The Scrapping Box. Here is a preview of the scrapkit: (Click on the image to see it in full view) Materials you need: Mask of choice. I used “sg_daisy-edge by EssexGirl. A suitable font. I used “Alex Brush Regular”. My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black. Make a new canvas 700 x 700 pixels. Add frame F2. Add element E7 and place it underneath the frame. Duplicate this and place one above the frame. Add a drop shadow to this layer. We want the top part to stick out of the frame, so on the top layer, remove any section that is supposed to be underneath the frame so it looks something like this: Activate the bottom layer and add a paper. I used P10.
Click inside the frame with your Magic Wand. Expand the selection by 5, hit Invert and click Delete on both the bottom element layer and paper layer. Select none and add a drop shadow to frame layer. Hide the bottom layer and merge visible. At this point, I placed the tube. I had to resize it down to 60%, placed it on the right side and added a drop shadow to it. Now you get to play with the elements. I used the same drop shadow on all these elements as I did before. You can also look at my tag for replacement. These are the ones that I used and where I placed them: Element E1 – placed on the right side below the frame. I erased the roots at the bottom. Element E75 – resized to 60%, mirrored and placed on the left side behind the frame. Element E51 – place it in the top left corner, behind the frame. Element E13 – placed at the bottom of the tag, behind the frame. Element E17 – resized down to 85% and placed at the bottom, above the tube. Element E11 – placed at the bottom, right above element E13. Element E3 – resized to 60% and placed at the bottom right side to hide the sharp edges on the previous layers. Duplicate and mirror. Element E48 – rotate 90 degrees to the right and place at the bottom of the tag. Element E27 – Mirror and flip and place at the bottom of the tag. Element E88 – Rotate 90 degrees to the left and place at the bottom of the tag. Element E91 – Do the same as you did with element E88. Element 79 – Rotate 90 degrees to the left and place at the bottom right. Duplicate it and rotate this one 15 degrees to the right. Element E40 – resize it to 50% and place in the bottom right corner. Element E50 – place it in front of the frame. Rotate 15 degrees to the left. Go to Adjust – Sharpness and choose sharpen. Element E21 – placed on the top layer, on the left side of the frame. Place a bow in the top left corner of the frame. I used B2. Resize it by 50%, rotate 45 degrees to the left and sharpen it (like you did with element E50). Go the element E21 and erase the bits that stick out above the bow. Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque. Activate the bottom layer add a new raster and Select All. Paste a paper into the selection. I used P12. Select none. Add your mask and merge group. I duplicated my mask layer and merged these 2 together. Change to your Text Tool, find the font, change the size to 80, both fore- and background colour to white and write your name. Convert to raster. I moved the name to the layer below the lamp (element E21). Add the same drop shadow to the name as you used earlier. Resize your tag, add proper copyright and save as png or jpg. Thanks for trying!
