PTU - Forest Swing with Tony Mauro

29/4/2013

Picture
This tutorial was written April 29th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.
It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
Any tube you decide on. I’m a gorgeous tube by Tony Mauro that you can purchase at My Tubed Art.
I also used a PTU kit called “Fresh Day” by Albina Design. This was a freebie when I got it, but  you can purchase it at Digital-Crea.

Materials you need:
A masks of choice. I used “WSL_Mask345" by Weescotlass. She got tons of awesome masks.
A font that you like. I used “Janda Cheerful Script”.
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional)

My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black.

Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels.
Add a new raster and go to Selections and choose Select All. Paste element 61 into the selection and select none.
Paste the tube as a new layer. Place it towards the right.
Paste element 7 as a new layer. Resize it down to 25% and mirror it.
Place is so that it's right on top of the tree on the left side on the paper (element 61).
Activate the eraser and remove all parts that is in front of the tube at the bottom.
We want it to look like the swing is actually hanging in the tree. Do not remove the green parts of the tree.
Mine looks something like this when I hide the paper layer:
Picture
Add a drop shadow to the tube layer.
Now it's time to have some fun and add some elements.
I have listed which one I used and what I resized them down to. Please see my tag for placement if nothing is stated:

Element 27 - 15%
Element 45 - 15% mirrored - bottom right corner
Element 47 - 15%
Element 21 - 8%
Element 51 - 15%
Element 9 - 8% - placed underneath element 45.
Duplicate this layer and resize it down to 75%.
Duplicate again and repeat the resize.
Element 38 - 15% - underneath the tube layer.
Element 35 - 8% - bottom right corner.

Add a drop shadow to all the layers, except tube layer, erased tree layer and element 38.
Go to the paper layer and add your mask. Merge group.
If you use a different mask, you might have to erase a little bit more from the erased tree we did earlier.
Hide the bottom layer (if you got a white background) and
crop your tag with Merge Opaque.

Activate your Text Tool, find the font you want to use and type out the name.
Convert to raster.
I had both fore- and background set to black with these settings:
Picture
I always like to see the name "pop" so I used Gradient Glow with these settings:
Picture
The colour codes I used comes from the background: #5bc31d and #c2e822.
Don't forget to add a drop shadow to the name.
Resize your tag and add the proper copyright.

Save as png or jpg and you're done!

Thanks for trying my tutorial.

This tutorial was written April 26th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
Any tube you decide on. I’m a gorgeous tube by Gaynor Lewis at My Tubed Art.
I also used a PTU kit called “Candy Floss Dreams” by Misty Mayhem Scraps,
which you can purchase at The Scrapping Box.
Here is a preview of the scrapkit:
Picture
Materials you need:
2 masks of choice. I used “DDMask7” and “Mask13” by Dees'Sign Depot.
A font that you like. I used “Xiomara Script”.
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional)

My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black.

Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels.
Paste element 57 as a new layer. Rotate it 90 degrees to the left (or right) and resize it down to 50%.
Paste a paper underneath the frame. I used paper1. You might have to resize it some, or at least move it around a little bit to get he part of the paper you want to show inside the frame.
Paste element13 above the paper and place in to position. See my tag for reference.
Duplicate this layer, mirror and flip it.

Click inside the frame with your magic wand. Expand the selection by 5 and Invert.
Hit Delete on both the layers with element 13 and the paper layer. Select none.

Paste element16 underneath the frame and resize it down to 50%. Place in the top left corner of the frame. Duplicate this, mirror and flip. Move it to the bottom right corner of the frame and merge these 2 together.

Go to the bottom layer and paste element 10. Resize it to 50% and place it in the top left corner.
Paste element8 under the flower and resize it to 50%. Place it so that the leaves are sticking out a bit. See my tag for reference.
Paste element 14 underneath the leaves layer. Resize it to 50% and place it in the bottom right corner.
Paste element44 underneath the white flower. Resize it to 60% and place it in the top right corner.
Paste element32 above the pink flower. Resize it to 30% and place it in the bottom left corner of the frame. See my tag for reference.
Paste element20 and place it at the bottom of the frame. Resize it to 50%.
Duplicate this layer and place the top sprinkle layer above the frame at the top of the frame.

Paste your tube as a new layer. I added a drop shadow to the tube straight away and with the selection too, I removed a bit at the bottom, so that it looks like the tube is inside the frame at the bottom.

Paste element50 above the bottom sprinkle trail and resize it to 30%. Place it in the bottom right corner of the frame. Paste element16, mirror it and resize it to 30%. Place it in the top right corner of the frame.
Paste element46 above the pink flower cluster and resize it to 30%.
Paste element47 and resize it to 20%. Place it in the bottom left corner of the frame.
Paste element30 and resize it to 50%. Place it in front of the pillow and pink bag.
Paste element52 above the high heels. Resize it to 25% and place at the bottom.

Add a drop shadow to all the layers.

Go to the bottom layer and add a new raster. Change your foreground and background colours to 2 from the tag. I used 2 dark colours from the kitten.
Change the foreground colour to a gradient, like this:
Picture
And floodfill the layer.
Add your mask (DDMask7) and merge group.
I duplicated the mask layer a total of 5 times and merged these together.

Add another raster layer above the mask layer. Select All and past a paper in to the selection. I used paper10. Select none, add the second mask (Mask13) to this layer. I increased the size of the mask layers on this one by dragging the corners out with the pick tool and merged the group. I also duplicated it a total of 5 times and merged these together. I moved this under the grey mask layer.

Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque.
You might have to adjust the size of the crop, moving the lines around your tag a bit.

Activate the Text Tool, find your font, change the size to 70px, anti-alias to Smooth. Set the foreground and background colour to black and type out your name.

Convert to raster and add a Gradient Glow to the name with these settings:
Picture
I used the FAT setting and picked 2 pink colours from the tag: #fd309e and #f194cb, like this:
Picture
Add a drop shadow to the name.
Resize your tag and add the proper copyright.
Save it as a png or jpg.

Picture
This tutorial was written April 25th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to copy and paste and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
Any tube you decide on. I’m using some of the Emo tubes (4 tubes) from Michi Art at CDO.
I also used a FTU kit called “Girls Rule” by Gimptastic Scraps.

Here is a preview of the scrapkit:
Picture
Materials you need:
Mask of choice. I used “Mask 51” by AquaRebel315.
A font that matches the theme. I used “Punk Kid”.
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (Optional)

My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black.

Make a new canvas, 700 x 700 pixels.
Paste Frame 4 and rotate it 15 degrees to the right. Place on the right side for now. You can move it in to place later.
Paste Frame3 and rotate it 90 degrees to the right. Place on the left side.
Paste a paper below frame 4. Do the same with your second paper choice. I used Paper4 and Paper7. Activate your Magic Wand and click inside the top part of the black frame. Expand by 5 and Invert.
Go to the paper layer and hit Delete.
Select None.
Repeat the process but click inside the bottom part of the frame instead.
Go to the other paper and hit Delete. Select None.

Paste a black paper underneath the circle frames. I used Paper2.

Click inside all 3 circles with your Magic Wand and expand by 5. Invert, activate the paper layer and hit Delete. Select None.

Now we’re going to add some close-up tubes inside the circles. Here I will explain how to it to the top one, so repeat this on the other 2 circles:

Paste a tube (from the same artist) and place it to your liking inside the circle frame. I resized mine down to 60% because they were quite big. Go to the frame layer and click inside the top circle with your Magic Wand. Expand by 5, Invert and go back to the close-up tube. Hit delete and Select None.
Change the layer option on the tube to Screen and lower the opacity to 70.
Once you have done this to all 3 circles, you can start placing elements around.

These are the ones that I used. Any changes I had made to these layers are explained (See my tag for reference):
Deco – above the bottom layer, place at the bottom right.
Star Spiral – above the bottom layer, bottom left.
Duplicate, mirror and flip this one.
Bubble1 – above the Circle frame, top right.
Ribbon – above the black frame, on the right side.
Winged Skull – above the ribbon, right side.
Arrow – above the black frame, bottom area.
OMG – above the circle frame, between the bottom 2 circles.
Girls Rule – above the circle frame, at the bottom
Flower1 – Above the top Star Spiral, top left corner.
Star1 – above the circle layer, almost centre.
Balloon2 – above the ribbon layer, right side
Kiss – above Bubble1, bottom right corner.
Bubble2 – above the kiss, bottom right corner.
I added Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow to “Kiss” and “Arrow”, using the Fat setting with white and these numbers:
Picture
Add a drop shadow on all the layers. My settings are mentioned at the top of the tutorial.
Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque.
Activate the bottom layer and paste a new layer. Select all and paste a paper in to the Selection. I used Paper6. Select None.
Add a mask to the paper layer and Merge Group. See my tutorial on how to do it HERE.

Activate your Text Tool. I used Punk Kit at 70 pixels with black as background colour.
Write your name and convert to raster.
I added the same Gradient Glow to the name, as I used earlier.
Add a drop shadow to the name.

Resize your tag. I resized mine down to 550px on the longest side.
Add the copyright info and save your tag.
I hid my bottom layer and saved as png.

Thanks for trying my tutorial.

I also made some snags that you can find HERE.

Making a mask layer on your tags

18/4/2013

A friend of mine asked if I could teach her how to work with mask layers using a newer version of Paint Shop Pro, so I decided to write this tutorial in case there are others out there that would like to learn how to do it.
This short tutorial will teach you how to work with masks in Corel X3, but it should work in other versions aw well. It’s important that you have set up your Corel so that you can see the layers on the right side of your workspace. I always have Materials, History and Layers there. This can be changed in Palettes on top of your workspace.

We are going to use a flood filled layer here, but this can be done on paper layers, images or anything else really.

Here is a mask that I have made:

Picture
Just right click the image and save to your pc.
Please follow my TOU regarding my masks.
You can find all my other masks HERE.
Open up the mask you want to use in Corel.
Make a new canvas that is 500 x 500 pixels.
Flood fill with a colour or gradient of choice.
I used a rainbow gradient that came with my Corel program.

Go to Layer (on the top bar) and choose “New Mask Layer”
After that you click on “From Image”, like this:
Picture
Once you’ve done that, you click where it says “Image” under the Source Window and find the name of the mask you want to use, like this:
Picture
A good rule to follow is that it’s always the black are of the mask that will fade or disappear, so if the center of the mask image you want to use is black, you have to tick “Invert Mask Data” in the bottom left corner of the option above (look at the screenshot).

Anyway, back to the tutorial here. Click OK.
Now it should look like this:
Picture
And on your right side, the layers should look like this:
Picture
On your right side, under Layers, right click on the top layer that says “Group”, click Merge then Merge Group.
And there you go, you have a mask layer.

I have just shown you how I  do it. Other might do it a little bit differently.
I hope I made sense trying to explain this lol.

PTU - Natural World of Fantasy

This tutorial was written April 17th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
Any tube you decide on. I’m using an exclusive tube from Maxine Gadd. This tube was purchased in an event called Taking Back PSP from October 2012, so unless you took part in that event, you can’t get the tube. It will never be up for sale anywhere.

I also used a kit called “Natural World of fantasy by Disyas Digitals Designs. You can purchase this kit at The Scrapping Box.
Here is a preview of the scrapkit:
Picture
(Click on the image to see it in full view)

Materials you need:
Mask of choice. I used “sg_daisy-edge by EssexGirl.
A suitable font. I used “Alex Brush Regular”.

My settings for drop shadow: 3, 3, 70, 8, Black.

Make a new canvas 700 x 700 pixels.
Add frame F2.
Add element E7 and place it underneath the frame. Duplicate this and place one above the frame. Add a drop shadow to this layer.
We want the top part to stick out of the frame, so on the top layer, remove any section that is supposed to be underneath the frame so it looks something like this:
Picture
Activate the bottom layer and add a paper. I used P10.
Click inside the frame with your Magic Wand. Expand the selection by 5, hit Invert and click Delete on both the bottom element layer and paper layer. Select none and add a drop shadow to frame layer.
Hide the bottom layer and merge visible.

At this point, I placed the tube. I had to resize it down to 60%, placed it on the right side and added a drop shadow to it.

Now you get to play with the elements.
I used the same drop shadow on all these elements as I did before.
You can also look at my tag for replacement.
These are the ones that I used and where I placed them:

Element E1 – placed on the right side below the frame. I erased the roots at the bottom.
Element E75 – resized to 60%, mirrored and placed on the left side behind the frame.
Element E51 – place it in the top left corner, behind the frame.
Element E13 – placed at the bottom of the tag, behind the frame.
Element E17 – resized down to 85% and placed at the bottom, above the tube.
Element E11 – placed at the bottom, right above element E13.
Element E3 – resized to 60% and placed at the bottom right side to hide the sharp edges on the previous layers. Duplicate and mirror.
Element E48 – rotate 90 degrees to the right and place at the bottom of the tag.
Element E27 – Mirror and flip and place at the bottom of the tag.
Element E88 – Rotate 90 degrees to the left and place at the bottom of the tag.
Element E91 – Do the same as you did with element E88.
Element 79 – Rotate 90 degrees to the left and place at the bottom right. Duplicate it and rotate this one 15 degrees to the right.
Element E40 – resize it to 50% and place in the bottom right corner.
Element E50 – place it in front of the frame. Rotate 15 degrees to the left.
Go to Adjust – Sharpness and choose sharpen.
Element E21 – placed on the top layer, on the left side of the frame.
Place a bow in the top left corner of the frame. I used B2. Resize it by 50%, rotate 45 degrees to the left and sharpen it (like you did with element E50).
Go the element E21 and erase the bits that stick out above the bow.

Hide the bottom layer and crop your tag with Merge Opaque.
Activate the bottom layer add a new raster and Select All.
Paste a paper into the selection. I used P12.
Select none.
Add your mask and merge group.
I duplicated my mask layer and merged these 2 together.

Change to your Text Tool, find the font, change the size to 80, both fore- and background colour to white and write your name. Convert to raster.
I moved the name to the layer below the lamp (element E21). Add the same drop shadow to the name as you used earlier.

Resize your tag, add proper copyright and save as png or jpg.

Thanks for trying!

This tutorial was written April 10th, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice. I used a beautiful tube from Zindy S.D.Nielsen. I also used a kit called Symphony by CBJ. Both the tube and the kit can be purchased as a collection or separate over at Zindy-Zone. The collection is called “Flower Fairy Collection”.
Here is a preview of the collection:
Picture
(Click on the image to see it in full view)
In my second example at the bottom, I used a tube by Aleksandra. You can purchase her art at My Tubed Art.

Materials you need:
Mask of choice. I used Mask 7 by Horseplay’s Pasture.
A font of choice. I used “Symphony”
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (optional)

Let’s get started!

Open a blank canvas that is 700x700 pixels.
Paste FrameWrap2 as a new layer and resize it down to 70%.
Activate your Magic Wand and click inside the frame.
Expand by 5 and Invert.
Go to the layer below the frame and add a paper. I used Paper 14.
Hit delete and Deselect.
Go to the bottom layer and paste Wire. Resize it down to 80% and move it up a little bit.
Paste GlitterSwirl and resize it to 50%. Place on the right side.
Paste LightBeam2 above the paper layer and resize it down to 65%.
Move it up a little bit and duplicate it. Flip the duplicate and place these two layers towards each other in the middle. See my tag for reference. Merge these 2 together.
Go to the frame layer and paste VioletFloral. Resize it to 70% and place it in the top left of the frame.
Paste Ribbon2 and resize it to 50%. Move it in place below the crochet flowers after you have pasted them.
Paste Crochet Flowers as a new layer. Place it at the bottom of the frame.
Paste Hummingbird as a new layer and place it in the top left corner by the flower. Resize it to 70%. See my tag for reference.
Go to the top layer and paste Chain. Resize it by 50% and place it on the right side.
Do the same with a bow. I used Bow4 and resized it down to 25%.

Paste the tube and place it a little bit down. See my tag for reference.
If you use a different tube, like I did in the second example below, you have to hide the bottom of the tube. To do this, I pasted the tube below the ribbon.

Time to add some drop shadow to the layers. I used 3, 3, 70, 8, Black on all layers, except the paper layer and the light beams.

Go to the bottom layer and add a paper. I used Paper1.
Add your mask and merge group.
Duplicate the mask layer once and merge these two.

Crop your tag with the Merge Opaque setting.

Change to your Text Tool, find the font, change the size to 80, both fore- and background colour to white and write your name. Convert to raster.

I added a Gradient Glow to the name, using Eye Candy 4000. I set glow width to 3, left the other settings as default. On the Colour tab I changed it to the Fat setting and chose #2a656b as the colour.
Add the same drop shadow to the name as you used earlier.

Resize your tag and save as png or jpg.

Here is another sample and I used the beautiful art of Aleksandra:

Picture
This tutorial was written on April 2nd, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice. I used a tube by Aleksandra. You can purchase her tubes at MTA.
A scrapkit of choice. I used a FTU kit by Gimptastic Scraps, called Evening Dew.
Mask of choice. I used Mask 61 by Sophisticat Simone.
A font of choice.

Materials used:
Mura Meister Copies
EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow (Optional)

Make a new transparent image – 700x700 pixels.
Paste Frame 4 to your canvas.
Paste a paper (I used Paper 9) below the frame layer. Resize it down to 60%.
Paste a close up of your tube and place it inside the frame.
With your Magic and active, click inside the frame and expand the selection by 5 and click Invert.
Hit delete on your tube layer and paper layer.
Add a drop shadow to the frame and tube layer. I used 3, 3, 70, 8, Black throughout the tutorial.
Hide the bottom layer and merge visible.

Add frame 6 below the merged layer. You can resize it a little bit if you want. I kept it at the original size.
Add another paper below the round frame.
Click inside the frame with your Magic Wand and expand the selection by 5 and click Invert.
Paste Paper 6 below the frame and hit delete. Do not deselect. Instead, click Invert and go to Effects – Texture Effect – Mosaic Antique with these settings:
Picture
Add the same drop shadow as before on the round frame and merge down.

Add WaterDroplets below the round frame and add a drop shadow to it.
Activate the top layer. Add Flower1 and resize it down by 50%. Place it at the bottom center and add a drop shadow.
Add the element Keys below the flower. Resize down by 50%. Add a drop shadow.

Go to Mura Meister Copies and use these settings:
Picture
Move the circle of gems to the top right corner and move this layer down to the round frame layer and add a drop shadow.
Activate the top layer and paste your tube. Place it to your liking and add a drop shadow.

Crop your tag with Merge Opaque, but remember to adjust the crop lines around your tag before you accept it. If you don’t do this, it might leave an area from the close up at the bottom and we don’t want to keep that.

Go to the bottom layer and unhide it. Select All and paste a paper of choice in to the selection. I used Paper10.
Add a mask of choice to this layer and merge group.
If the mask layer is very faint, you can duplicate it and merge it down with the bottom mask layer.

Time to get a name or saying on your creation. Activate the Text Tool. I used “SpringLPStd-Light.otf” Size 80 pixels, anti-alias – Smooth. Fore- and background colour is set to white.
Convert to raster.
I used Gradient Glow with a dark colour from the tube on the name, with these settings:
Picture
On the Color tab, I used the Fat setting.
Add a drop shadow to the name.
Resize your tag down to 500 px on the longest side.
Add the copyright info and save your tag as png of jpg.

Thanks for trying my tutorial.

Add a new raster layer and send to bottom.
Paste “SD Flowers 2” and resize it down to 60%. Place it in the top left corner.
Do the same with “SD Flowers 1” and place it in the top right corner.
Paste “SD Stones” on the top layer, resize it down to 60% and place it in the middle at the bottom.
Add “SD Grass” and resize it to 30%. Place it at the bottom. Duplicate and place it to the left. Duplicate again and mirror
Paste “SD Flower 1” and resize it to 15%. Place at the bottom. Duplicate this 5 times, mirror 2 of them and place around the stones at the bottom.
Add “SD Ribbon 1”, resize it to 60% and place underneath the pink flowers.
Add “SD Ribbon 5”, resize it to 15% and place it on the right side just above the frame/image.
Add “SD Ladder” and resize it to 60%. Place this just above the bottom layer.
Add “SD Leaves 2” and resize it to 15%. Duplicate this as many times as you want. I did it 6 times and rotated some of them and placed them under the pink flowers.
Add “SD Daisy 3”, resize to 30% and place it at the top of the pink ribbon.
Add “SD String 3” to the layer above the ladder and resize it to 80%.
Add “SD Butterflies” on the top layer and resize it to 30%. Place it in the top right corner. See my tag for reference,
Add a suitable drop shadow to all the layers except the frame. I used the same settings as before.
Crop your tag.

Flood fill the bottom layer with a colour from your image/tube. I used #ae6b75.
Put a contrasting colour as your background. I used #b9746c.
Open Eye Candy 6 – Marble with these settings, Foreground colour is Bedrock Colour and background colour is Vein Colour:
Picture
Click OK.
Change the layer option on this one to Colour.
Add another layer and floodfill this with a 3rd colour. I used #9885a0.
Place this below your Eye Candy layer.

My goal with this was to get a similar look to the background in the image.
Feel free to play around, or just add a paper from the kit instead.

Add a mask of choice on the Eye Candy layer and merge group. Change the opacity to 75% on this one.
Repeat on the floodfilled layer, but don’t change the opacity.

Set your background and foreground colour to white and add your name, using a script font. Add a drop shadow.

Resize your tag to 550 px on the longest side.

Add your copyright info using a pixel font and save your tag in either png or jpg.

Thanks for trying!

Justice tutorial with Erin Ewer

This tutorial was written March 23, 2013 and edited on June 17 2015. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well.
It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to resize and working with layers.
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please look at my TOU for more info.

The supplies you need:
A tube of choice. I used a beautiful tube from Erin Ewer. Her tubes can be purchased at Digital Art Heaven.
A scrapkit of choice. I used a kit called “Old Fashion” by Saskia. This is a PTU kit you can get at DigitalScrapbooking. This is a full size kit, so all elements and papers that are used need to be
resized to fit.
Materials you need:
Mask of choice. I used Mask 61 by Sophisticat Simone.
A font of choice. I used “JustColesCursive”
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow (optional)

Open a blank canvas that is 700x700 pixels.
Paste your tube as a new layer and add a drop shadow.
I used 3,3,50,8,Black
Add a new raster and send to the bottom.

Paste element 26, resize (to 15%) and put it below the tube.
Rotate by 25 to the right and move it towards the left side.
See my tag for placement.
Click inside the frame with your selection wand, and expand by 5.
Add a new raster and place it under the frame.
Paste a paper of choice inside the selection.
I used the paper called “saskia_oldfashion”.
Add a drop shadow to the frame and merge down. I used same drop shadow as before.

Paste element 77 above the frame and resize (to 15%) to fit.
Using the same selection method as before, paste a paper of choice inside the selection.
I used the paper called “15”.
Add a drop shadow to the frame and merge down.
I placed this below the first frame and up to the left corner.

Add another frame. I used element 40 and resized it to 20%.
Using the same selection method as before, paste a paper of choice inside the selection.
I used the paper called “8”.
Add a drop shadow to the frame and merge down.
I bet you’re thinking “more frames?” Don’t worry, that was the last lol.

Now to have some fun with placing the elements.
I have just listed what elements I have used, what layer and what I resized them to.
I use the same drop shadow on these, as I did on the frames. Place to your liking or
look at my tag for reference.

Element 25 – below the bottom frame – 15% - Duplicate and mirror it.
Element 23 – above the bottom frame – 10%
Element 42 – above the rectangle frame – 12%
Element 67 – above oval frame – 12%
Element 45 – above the oval frame – 10%
Element 12 – above the oval frame – 15% - mirrored
Element 16 – above the books – 5% - mirrored
Element 37 – below the tube – 20%
Element 43 – above the tube – 20%
Element 56 – above the tube – 5% - mirrored
Element 73 – below the teddy – 15%

Some of the elements get a white line around them if you resize them a lot. The solution to that is simple:
Stay on the layer of the element, select all, float, defloat, contract by 1, invert and hit delete.
You have to do this BEFORE you add drop shadow.

If you want to add more elements, now is the time to do so.
If not, add drop shadow to all the layers.
Crop you tag with the Crop Tool and Merge Opaque selection.

Go to the bottom empty layer and select all.
Paste a paper of choice in to the selection. I used number 9. Selection none.
Add a mask of choice to this layer and merge group.
Depending on what paper you use, you might have to duplicate this layer a few times.
I duplicated it once and merged down.

Don’t worry, we’re almost done, hehe.

Now it’s time to add your name or a saying.
Change your fore and background colour to white and type the name with the Text Tool. I used size 80px.
Add a gradient glow to the name using a darker colour from the tube. I used #968f57.
Add the same drop shadow to the name.

Resize your tag to 550 pixels on the longest side.
With a pixel font, add your copyright info and save your creation.

Thanks for trying out my tutorial.
