This tutorial was written on April 2nd, 2013. I used Corel X3, but it should work in other versions as well. Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please look at my TOU for more info. The supplies you need: An image of choice. I used a beautiful tube by Anna Liwanag. You can purchase her tubes at CDO. A scrapkit of choice. I used ”Spring Elegance” by Misty Mayhem Scraps and this kit can be purchased at The Scrapping Box. Mask of choice. I used Mask 20 by Moonbeams & Spiderwebs. Font of choice. I used “Elegant Script”. Make a new transparent image – 700x700 pixels. Paste element 26 as a new layer and place it in the top right corner. You can position it better later when the tube is placed. Paste element 37 and place towards the right side. Place element 29 in the top left side. Element 9 is placed in the top right corner. Paste element 10 and leave it in the center. Paste element 30 and place it so that the bow is in top center of the oval. Element 4 is resized to 35% and placed on top of element 30. See my tag for reference. Paste element 7 and place it in the bottom left corner. Do the same to element 33, but mirror it before placing it. Element 24 is resized to 35%, rotated 20 degrees to the left and place on left side. Paste element 6, rotate it 40 degrees to the right and place in bottom left corner. Element 1 is resized to 50% and placed in bottom left corner. Paste element 16, resize it to 50%, mirror it and place it in the bottom left corner. Element 18 is resized to 35%, pasted as a new layer (as usual) and place at the bottom next to the shoe. Paste your tube and place on the right side. Put a drop shadow on all layers: 3, 3, 50, 8, Black. Go to the bottom layer and add a paper. I used Paper 4. Add a mask of choice to this layer, merge group and crop your tag whit Merge Opaque. Set your foreground and background to 2 suitable colours from your tube. I used #90d1c8 as foreground and #3c7e75 as background. Activate your Text Tool, find the font you want to use and add your name or saying. I used these settings: Convert to raster and add the same drop shadow as you used earlier.
Resize your tag to 550 pixels on the longest side and add your copyright info using a pixel font. Save your tag as png or jpg. Thanks for trying my tutorial. I also made some matching snags that you can grab HERE. Hugs Lithy
